Make a difference this Christmas.
Mission Gift Festival has Moved to November!

Join us November 24th to learn about six important mission agencies and to purchase mission gifts for your loved ones. It’s a great opportunity to connect with your Community UMC friends and get some holiday “shopping” done. You will also be able to find out more about each organization and how else you might be able to help them, not just at Christmas time, while doing your shopping.

Join us November 24th to learn about six important mission agencies and to purchase mission gifts for your loved ones. It’s a great opportunity to connect with your CUMC friends and get some holiday “shopping” done.

As your holiday plans are developing and you are searching for gift-giving ideas, remember the Mission Gift Festival at Community UMC. Join the Missions Team on Sunday, November 24th after service for an opportunity to buy gifts of a different nature!
Sponsored by your Missions Committee, you will be able to find special gifts for a relative, neighbor, teacher, baby sitter, etc. The six charitable organizations, selected and sponsored by Missions this year are Habitat for Humanity of Waukesha & Jefferson Counties, Rooted & Rising – Washington Park, Northcott Neighborhood House, Book Ahead, Life Navigators, and Donna Lexa Art Centers.
Each agency will have a table set up and you may visit them and “purchase” certain items to honor the special people in your lives for Christmas while supporting a particular organization or several. With your purchase(s) you will receive a gift card to give/send to that individual. Included in the gift card will be an enclosure telling what item has been purchased in his/her name and a little information about that particular organization. You will also be able to find out more about each organization and how else you might be able to help them, not just at Christmas time, while doing your shopping.
If you are unable to participate on November 24th, please pick up an order form in the church office or online, fill it out, and leave it with payment in the church office. (If you would like to purchase online with Vanco, need help or have further questions please call the church office at 262.782.4060) All Mission Gift Festival Purchases must be completed by 2:00pm on December 23rd.
Committee members look forward to helping you select Christmas gifts on December 5 while benefiting these five charitable organizations. Thanks for your continuing support of our various mission activities and HAPPPY SHOPPING!
