Family Ministries

Throughout the year a number of activities for families and adults are planned by our Children's Ministries and Membership Care Committees. Watch for detailed announcements about these special events. Many of them require advance registration.

Children's Christmas Pagent 2008 

On Sunday, December 7th , our annual Christmas Pageant, The First Christmas, will take place during the 10:30 A.M. service. Children of all ages will be costumed as animals, angels, shepherds, and wise men. Mary, Joseph, and baby Jesus will be the centerpiece of our program. The Sunday School Singers and the Hosanna Choir will sing anthems, and the whole congregation will join the children in singing traditional Christmas carols.

We encourage all children enrolled in Sunday school from our preschool thru 6th grade classes to participate in this wonderful event.

Birthday Party For Jesus 2008

On Saturday, December 6th, from 9-10:30am, CUMC will host its annual "Birthday Party for Jesus!" Please join us for crafts, stories, games and treats as we look forward to celebrating Jesus' birth at Christmas!

Bring a gift to support United Methodist Children's Services: diapers (we are in need of sizes 2-5), baby wipes, nooks, baby bottles, Onesies, receiving blankets, baby lotion, powder, baby soap, socks, bibs, Balmex or diaper bags.

Bunny Breakfast

On Saturday, April 4th, from 9-10:30am, CUMC will host its annual "Bunny Breakfast" Please join us for breakfast, crafts, stories and an egg hunt as we look forward to celebrating Easter Sunday
